This release brings a significant visual refresh with the Everforest color palette and adds essential localization support for English and Spanish. We've also addressed key bugs related to product editing and input fields.
✨ Visual Refresh with Everforest Theme
The app now features a more polished and less "flat" look and feel, adopting the Everforest color palette:
- Dark Mode: Uses the Dark Soft variant for a comfortable, muted experience.
- Light Mode: Uses the Light Medium variant for a clean and vibrant interface.
This theme update includes:
- Richer default Material 3 colors.
- Subtle gradient backgrounds on pages.
- Elevated cards with softer shadows.
- Polished input fields with rounded corners.
- Tonal product rows and improved totals styling.
🌍 Language Support (English & Spanish)
You can now switch the app's language between English and Spanish:
- Automatic: The app defaults to your device's system language.
- Manual: Choose your preferred language in the new Settings > Language menu.
- All UI strings have been localized, including product management, totals, settings, and update messages.
🐛 Bug Fixes
- Product Edit: Fixed an issue where editing a product's name and saving did not update the visible list item.
- Input Fields: Improved tax and budget input behavior, allowing decimal values to be typed normally without resetting.
🚀 How to Update
Download the
shopping_list.apkasset from this release and install it on your Android device. The app's built-in update checker will also prompt you to download the latest version.
Note: The app still requires manual installation for Android side loading. Please ensure "Install unknown apps" is enabled for your browser or file manager if prompted.
